The diameter of the bites shown on this Whale carcass are about a foot across and identified as Great White Shark bites.

Great White Sharks will often feed upon dead or dying Whales floating on the surface, although whether they will attack and kill a healthy whale is unlikely.

sharks are so incredible. they blow my mind. i have studied them for years and they never disappoint. it is awful how many are killed a year, shockingly high numbers, and some are not ever being used, they are caught for sport or less, for FUN. when did killing an endangered animal become fun? well, i think this website is wonderful, the more people know about sharks the less they will fear them.
