After being in captivity for a few months, this young Great White Shark was released from Monterey Bay Aquarium into the wild. Great White Sharks are notorious for not surviving in enclosed environments and as such aquariums have taken to releasing them after a short period of time.

this does not appear to be a young great white. this actually looks more like a reef shark.
